Tonight I saw Black Panther and I was so moved... My sister had tears in her eyes when the lights came up. WHATS THE BIG DEAL? ❃ Lack of accurate African American representation causes us to feel out of place and unwelcome when we explore opportunities our hearts desire. The archetypes of the oppressed, dumb, poor, lawless, and option-less leaving subconscious wounds. ❃ This movie bashed all of that by presenting ancestral connection, pride in culture, loyalty, truth, healing, and resurrection.
