evil baby.
today has certainly been a day, so have inuyasha and yasu
well, they're technically the same person...
warm up of yasu,,,,,
doing the villain role justice after naraku is huge shoes to fill, but for the reincarnation au / sequel i introduce an... "acquaintance" of inutaisho.
i headcanon that he won sesshomaru's respect by sweep kicking him and knocking him down.
the father of the twins is actually my oc shiro, sorry i had to inform everyone this way 😔
fascinated with the idea of yasu inheriting a legacy of wrongdoings and an evil soul, but also the very human core that naraku was throwing so hard to throw away.
it's funny because displays a few behaviors that early inuyasha engaged in. yasu was feared and rejected by humans, so he shut them out.
yasu had the privilege of being loved and set on the right path by his mother, ima. but staying on that path has proven quite difficult. yasu is quite cynical and distrustful at heart. but despite this, unlike naraku, he does retain the ability to form (and keep) bonds.
yasu has a habit of sorting people into two categories: safe and potential threats. and as you might expect, almost everyone goes into the latter. once he well and truly trusts someone, he is quite devoted to them. to a fault, maybe. but when it comes to potential threats and enemies, he is cruel. he is very exacting about getting rid of potential threats, sharing in his antecedent’s meticulous nature. however, unlike naraku he is not a mastermind. he lacks patience and can get frustrated easily.
thankfully, his plots are nowhere near as elaborate and life ruining as naraku’s.
yasu is more inclined towards manipulation and selfishness, but he wants to be loved. desperately so. but somehow always ends up cultivating fear. despite it all, he never fully commits to ''if i cannot have love then i will be feared''.
naraku lacked the foresight and resolve to change. but yasu can.
