This is Vehks. Vehks is an asshole. Vehks is commonly known as a Carrion Shifter, or a Carrion Cliffdweller, among other things. People aren’t really sure if they actually eat the carrion, or are just found around it a lot, but most people don’t have personal experience that they have survived...
Vehks is called Vehks because he is nothing but a ‘vexation’ to the person who keeps him imprisoned in a menagerie of sorts along with other, mostly less dangerous creatures.
Vehks is a shapeshifter and has an intelligence level roughly equivalent of a crow or raven. The first image is his natural form, but he likes to ‘imitate’ humans like in the second picture. He gets it...mostly, but isn’t quite sure what to do with his limbs. His skin and feather/quills in his natural form have an oil-slick like appearance.
He is a creature created for the fun new project with the Inyathi from the previous post.
Some OCs for a self-indulgent fun project @falseprophet is messing around with some writing for, and so, I am messing around with some designs.
The race is called the Inyathi (unicorn) and they have a humanoid form and a more equine form and can transform, mostly, at will between the two.
The first image is Xiran (Falseprophet’s scholar) and his charge Kaios (mine).
Kaios by himself, he is about 5.
Kaios and Therim (Falseprophet’s), his twin. They are between 4 and 5 here, just before Xiran and Kaios leave the kingdom with the caravan.
