🛠️ MODDING — Key Points
Goal: Make modding more accessible and creator-friendly
• Wizard-based mod tools + script modding • Built-in in-game mod manager • Support for CAZ, animations, faces, sounds, vehicles • Long-term goal: Lua script modding
Milestones:
🗓️ Jan 2026 → ModKit (JSON-based assets), mod manager 🗓️ Mar 2026 → CAZ Wizard, improved project management 🗓️ Jun 2026 → Vehicle modding, UE 5.6, gameplay template tests 🗓️ Oct 2026 → Multiplayer-linked modding tests 🗓️ Dec 2026 → Lua script modding
🏙️ CANVASTOWN + FATE ENGINE
Goal: Save and share the best life-simulation stories
• Canvastown = small, optimized city • First home of the Fate Engine • Focus on smooth performance and fully playable space • Players can save and share their life scenarios (“good runs”)
Milestones:
🗓️ Mar 2026 → Fate Engine + Canvastown integration 🗓️ May 2026 → Fate Engine expanded to other cities 🗓️ Jun 2026 → Canvastown #1 (~40 lots) 🗓️ Oct 2026 → Canvastown #2 (~50 lots, rural atmosphere)
🌐 inZOI-online (Multiplayer)
Goal: Shared online life simulation — step by step
• Features will be heavily tested with the community • Developed in parallel with the core game • Gradual transition from small sessions to large-scale multiplayer
Milestones:
🗓️ Jan 2026 → Account system, personal Zoi, session save/resume 🗓️ Feb 2026 → Online hub, lobbies, chat 🗓️ Mar 2026 → Shared houses, player visits 🗓️ Jun 2026 → Host rule controls, multiplayer with mods 🗓️ Oct 2026 → Large servers (hundreds/thousands of players), city visits & social spaces
