Okay but Romitri from the angle that they're both prodigious Guardians being taken advantage of by their society.
Knock just a few years off of Dimitri. Maybe he graduated early, maybe he jet packed up the ranks. Make him Adrian's age or two years older, max.
He never really got the chance to be a normal teenager, even as little as Rose did.
Rose got to go to parties, she got taken in by Lissa's family during school breaks. Until they ran away she probably has as close to a charmed life as any of the dhampyrs left behind at the Academies.
Dimitri had to deal with his father abusing his mother and protecting all his sisters from being taken advantage of the same way, and then he moved out straight into the line of fire.
Dimitri can still bring a sense of duty and responsibility to Rose's perspective, and she can bring him a bit of the fun and the ease he never got to have as a student.
I just think it could work!
And then they could burn down the system that did this to them--
I'm frankly offended I can't find any useful information on District 9 and that it seems like a decent amount of their industry is folded into 11s. Like I get it Suzanne Collins had a lot more to say but why aren't any of the og trilogy's 9 tributes even named--
Did I ever post publicly that my ideal fate for rewrite Dimitri Belikov is him being Aroace and actually the safe adult?
Like him and Tasha being endgame is one way to solve the problem (I do not support because on top of his issues she has questionable judgement) but I feel like the only way to balance out every woman in a three mile radius wanting to climb him like a tree is to make him negative amounts of interested in everyone.
Rose could've had character development from an unrequited crush and healthy boundaries and the rest of us could have been spared all the mess that is her thoughts the last few books.
Obviously I'm drawing Rose and Lissa but who else do we want me drawing from VA/Bloodlines. I need to know what the people want.
Damn near in tears because I finally finished the prologue/pilot comic for Trufulla. I started this shit five years ago on a whim in class. I started DRAWING on a notepad at work three years ago. It's actually done.
I intend to post it when I have a backlog built up (which I feel good about working on! The finished product is hyping me up so much!) buuut if any of my mutuals wanna see my dnd-adjacent fantasy project I'm happy to share it in dms since I can't stop grinning at it
Actually reading the Song of Ice and Fire series is so so difficult because I always end up getting interested around the time the library snatches back my 14 day pass (Download Libby if it's in your area you won't regret it)
"But Iole it's 14 days why is it taking you so long) these books average about 1200 pages and I have to week through the POVs I find least intriguing and more often than not many of the characters being too horny on main for me to tolerate.
Anyway. Can I get opinions on whether it's worth it to continue with Theon's chapters or if skipping them would harm my reading experience.
If I get five notes on that art piece before midnight I'll see if I can post another tomorrow
