7. Your character walking in on mine making a shady transaction.
The contract was almost complete. The little yordle man was in tears begging him to help find his missing daughter. Fool. His daughter had been dead for months now. How had he not heard? Or was he in denial? Either way it was an easy contract to fulfill and another soul to collect. All the the yordle had to do was sign the contract.
He had found the man sitting alone at a desk. Laural had made himself known only after making sure no one else was in the room. He didn’t think to check the area, but it was late who else would be around. He had spun his tale to the yordle before offering his deal. Laural would help the yordle find his daughter, but it would cost him his soul. Laural found that parents would do anything for their children. This yordle was no different.
