(ionianpress) In a coffee shop nearby from Fortissimo's club, Ionian yordle would be scribbling down in his notepad along with a large paper that covered most of the coffee table. He would get small glances as he groaned, picking up his large cup of tea as he sipped it, staring at the large columns of text as he rubbed his head. "Ahh... It's not good isn't it huh buddy?" He talked at the paper softly, his icy blue eyes glinting in joy. "Perhaps a break is in order? nah, I'll keep working."
Fortissimo walked into the coffee shop and signed to the person at the counter. He sighed and pulled out his phone. He payed the woman for his coffee and slumped over in a chair and drank his drink. He looked over at the other yordle talking to himself. He didnt pay any mind to him for he was tired.
Kenneth would nod to himself, standing and stretching as he neatly folded the paper, putting it in his bag that hung by his chair as he set his camera on the table, starting to fiddle with it.
He would take gears and screws out with his hands, tightening what needed to be as he went through what seemed like daily maintenance for the camera as the flash clicked unexpectedly, taking a picture of Fortissimo.
Fortissimo heard the click and looked over and proceed to smile for the camera. He held his cup in his hands as he did so. Once he thought enough time had passed he waved at the other.
The photographer would blush as he looked at the other yordle, rubbing the back of his head as he chuckled weakly. “Ah sorry. Just fixing it is all.” He stammered, looking down at his disassembled camera as he started to put it all back together. “S-Sorry for the intrusion sir.” He smiled at him. “Didn’t mean to bother you.”
Fortissimo waved his hand as if to dismiss the others apology. He pulled out his phone and typed. {Its fine Friend, Nothing wrong with having a little fun.}
“Ah.. I mean if you’re sure.. Would you like the photo? I need to develop it first but I can get it to you.” He smiled, reading the words on his phone quickly. “Is there something wrong with your voice if You don’t mind my asking? Oh, and I’m Kenneth by the way, pleasure to meet you!”
{Its nice to meet you, Normally I see people walk in and out of this place, I don’t think I’ve seen you around here before. Take it your new in town.} He typed out on his phone. He showed it to the other and held out his hand. He reacted his phone and added. {Welcome to the Club by the way. My brother owns this place but I am running it temporarily while he is away on business.} He showed his phone to Kenneth once more.
“But... Fortissimo we’re in a cafe? Did you mean something else?” HE asked, slightly confused. “But yes, I am new in town. I’ve been here about a month and I’ve been writing my newspaper, ‘Ionian Press’ around town. I don’t think most people have seen it due to me having too many stories per week.... I guess it’s just too much? I’ve been trying to find a balance.” He rubbed the back of his head, smiling.
(Ionianpress) People. Other Yordles. News. That's all that really went through the reporter's head as he sat in the middle of town, staring down the street as he tried to think up of anything to write. He held up his camera, pointing it down towards the crowds of yordles as he took pictures, his mind working before his lens set on
Teemo was walking around the City making sure that everything was in order, He had a few scouts around him. He pointed high and low to show the others around him something that he was talking about. He dismissed them and they went their own seperate ways. He greeted some poeple who said hello to him as he began to walk. He notticed a yordle walking to him and he smiled and stopped when he got close to him. “Hello, May I help you?” Teemo asked as he looked at the other.
“My name is Kenneth, and I’m with the newspaper ‘The Ionian Press!’ I’d like to have you for an interview if that would be possible.” He smiled as he spun a pen into his hand, coupled with a notepad. “So, is it alright if I ask you a few questions? I just want to get the feel of Bandle as best I can!”
Teemo nodded and looked at the other as he placed his hands behind his back.
“I’m always welcome to answering any questions anyone has, but might I ask, is your paper from Ionia? And if so, what part? “Would you happen to know the Ninjas there?”
Kennet smiled as he nodded. “Yes, the newspaper is originally in Ionia but I traveled here so I could put even more in it. Oh, And I’m from a village up in the mountains, near the capital city. Why do you ask?” His pen spun in his hands as he held up his camera. “May I have a picture of you sir? I have come to believe you’re quite popular around here.”
“I’m surprised that you aren’t writing about the I ninjas that reside there in Ionia. On the other hand I’m pretty sure your village is tiard of reading all of that by now.” Teemo smiled and chuckled a bit.
“Oh of corse! Take one!” He paused. “And yes, I am a bit well known around here. I am Taptian Teemo of the Bandle city scouts, at your service. He said bowing a bit.
Kenneth shook his head. “Sorry, but the various clans of ninjas, while known by name, pictures of any of members are considered a rarity and even first names of the members aren’t even known.” The reporter explained. “ The only major thing I’ve published would be about a major frost wave that spawned due to an angered spirit.” The reporter would smile as his camera clicked rapidly as the scout bowed. “Alright, thank you for your time Captain Teemo. If I may ask, what exactly does the Bandle City Scouts do? And if you could, how many scouts do you lead?”
“Well the scouts are… like the police in this city. The do patrols around the city and there are at least two scouts with in earshot of anyone who needs help or assistance. Some of the less trained scouts go around and help others that need it, and do community service. We also have others that go around the city permitter and make sure that the forests are clear from any wondering Golems that may wonder into the City. And as for how many scouts I lead? If it any event comes to it.. all of them. But on a day to day basis, I lead about one eighth to one fourth depending on the distribution schedules.” He said proudly as he looked at the others camera.
“I gotcha!” Kenneth smiled, looking up at the scout as he wrote down word for word, keeping up with him. “So you keep the peace around here, like a guard correct? Have there been any big instances that required a lot of intervention from the scouts? And pardon my asking, but have there been any… murders? It’s for another story I’ve been looking into..”
“You can say so. Although I can be called away by the League at any moment, but for the most part I’m a guard here.” He spoke confidently, and moved on to the next question.
“As for the murders, yes thee have been murders. However, I am proud to say that since my time as a scout there have been fewer crimes and murders since my appointed position.” He said with a smile, proud of his accomplishment.
He nodded his head in understanding. “Alright. And thank you for telling me about the murders. It’s just an old snippet of a newspaper that I found back in my old Village. It’s been interesting to read it all, I’ve also been trying to figure out it’s origin.” He pulled up his satchel, ruffling around inside of it for a bit before pulling out a sealed slip of paper. The paper was yellowed with age, slight burn marks and water damage could be seen on it. “I was wondering if you could help me look into this if you have the time.”
Teemo looked at the other opening his bag and he casually tried to see what was in it out of curiosity. Nothing special. He took the paper and asked. “What is the case?” Before looking it over.
The newspaper would be titled “BANDLE REPORT” with the dates scratched out. The report would go into details of mass murders, each case having a distinct signature by the murderer: the blood of people being used as ink to write different forms of poetry. They ranged from scouts of past to even children. “A Mass murderer… His real name is completely missing to my knowledge, just the initials of M.K. are able to be read.. Sorry I can’t give you anything better than that.”
Teemo was stuck on what he said.. M.K the initials sounded familiar but he coulnt place his finger on it.
“I can’t tell for sure but I believe that these took place as I was growing up.”
He said looking at the paper. “I would be surprised if this person was still around. Maybe they aren’t around anymore due to age.. I’m sure records has something on it but as a person I know nothing about these cases.” He said Hanson back the paper back to him. “Plus even if I knew anything on the subject I couldn’t tell you. Bein bound by law and what not.” He said with a smile.
“Ah, You sure? I’ve been looking into this case for about ten years now…” He rubbed the back of his head. “Are there any public records that I could read up on? This is.. Something important to me.” He looked at him with a weak smile. “O-Oh uhm… Could I get a recommendation for a place to eat? Just so I could get more of a glimpse into the daily lives of yordles of Bandle. It’d help a lot.
“Well I’ll tell you what, I’ll tell you what you want to know, only if you buy me lunch, and hey, I may even look into the case field if your truly interested in this case that is.” He said looking around a bit. “As for the restaurant the closest one is a few blocks that way!” He said pointing down the street o his left.
“I’ll gladly buy you lunch! Anything for a hero of Bandle city.” He smiled, following his finger down the street. “After you then? And thank you for your time again Sir.” The reporter bowed a bit before standing straight.
Teemo returned the bow and lead the way making sure to be slow enough so that the reporter could keep up. “So, tell me more about this case sir Kenneth. What purpose does it have with you, and what compels you to drive toward possible issues that have been solved or have been freezer burned?” He said walking by people who greeted him.
“It’s about… well… in short it’s articles about a serial killer and most of his victims. The way he killed and the state he left the bodies in. I’ve just grown extremely interested in it.” He said, picking up his pace to walk next to Teemo. “And it’s been… solved in a way. They had to kill the guy in a chase, I that much.” He explained, folding the sheet neatly before putting it into his satchel.
Teemo lead Kenneth to a nice small hole in the wall eatery. He held the door open as they chatted. “I see, the only question that I have is, if the case has been solved, why go on to learn more about it? Do you think they got the wrong guy?” Teemo asked after he ordered his food. “I mean, I’ll still look into it for you, but I just find this whole thing a bit curious.”
The reporter walk in and sit across form the Scout, looking over the menu before just asking to have whatever Teemo was having. “Well... No, I’m pretty sure if you kill or torture someone like that you’ve got to be the only one to do things like painting haiku in blood.” He shrugged. “But the main reason why is because I found the snippet in my home village in the first place. It’s why I traveled to Bandle in the first place really, the newspaper is just a reliable source of income right now.”

He finally had a day off from work, which was rare since he was constantly being sent on missions to exorcise demons and such. He decided to visit Bandle. He had visited the yordle city a few times before, but never got to fully experience the things the city had to offer. He happily skipped down the streets of the city, the bell around his neck jingling, his tail swaying behind him.

“I-I’m going to the capital…” He said as he looked around for a waiter. He then placed his order when a waitress came, “H-How close is Komeriho Mountain to the capital? I-I mean..I-If you still want to come with me t-that’s fine…b-but if it’s far then I can just buy you the train ticket to go directly there..”
“I think… it’s about three days away? I’m not sure.” He chuckled. “We don’t have a train to there, we’re kinda isolated.” He said, raising up a hand towards a waiter. The yordle would greet them, setting down two waters as he waited for orders.
“O-Oh…I-I see..W-Well…how about..We go to the capital first…T-Then we can maybe get some horses and take them to your village?” He smiled and began taking small sips from the water.
“S-So…U-Uhm…L-Let’s get to know each other better……W-We should probably do that since we’ll been spending some time together..”
“Sure! What do you want to know about me?” He asked, adjusting himself in his seat. “hmm... Horses? I don’t think I’m big enough to ride a horse...”

3. A Kiss on the Nose
Koko didn’t really know what he was doing. He just thought it was the right thing to do at the time. He leaned up to Kenneth and gave him a small kiss on the top of his nose. He blushed and looked away, “S-Sorry…”
{Snip}
“H-Heh…W-Well I hope it did bring us closer..” He grinned, “A-And I guess work is fine…H-How about you? H-Have you gotten any good stories lately?”
“Nothing really, I’ve already got a print going. Just put it out two hours ago!” he smiled. “I’ve got nothing now, just looking more into this case I’ve had.” He pulled out a small slip of paper, holding it up. “Looking into this string of murders.. I found this back in my village and I’ve become interested..”
“M-Murders?” He looked at the paper, “I-Is this happening in your village? O-Or just in general?..” He was worried that people in Kenneth’s home were dying, “W-Want me to help you?”
“Hmm? Oh no, no one is dying. This is an old article... I think it’s way back when Bandle City was first being established... Not so sure why it was in my village though but hey; I found it and it’s pretty cool. Not everyday you get something about a serial killer.”
I’m going to be rewriting a lot of lore today.
Feeeling restless.
Send me a reason you don’t RP with me.
Something I am noticing more and more is that people are following, but no one is interacting with one another. So to ease some people’s fears, why not tell one another why? Keeps others from agonizing of what they have or haven’t done.
And obviously, this is not an invitation for anon hate.
