#throwback As I wandered down to the port looking at the green slopes on either side, I was reminded how we used to wander round the island in springtime. Uli was always more agile than I was & used to have to stop & wait for me. While he was semi comatose 2 years ago, he used to dream about wandering the island again with me. When he was lucid we'd reminisce about the new born goats we'd stumbled upon, the various plants & orchids he'd found and the carpets of wild flowers we'd seen. Not to mention the birds & wildlife we'd come across. Here he is going down the path from our house to Mylopotas beach. We wandered that path countless times together.
