how does becoming an abomination work, exactly? because in da:2, it would seem as if you walk in on a stressed out mage at the docks and BAM! abomination.
It usually has to do with a mage being vulnerable and a demon reaching across a thin Veil. That’s what makes DA2 a bit of an outlier. The idea is that Kirkwall has an incredibly thin Veil after the deaths of slaves, blood sacrifices, and civil wars that had taken place there. So becoming an abomination there is far to easy when a mage is frightened, backed into a corner, and seeking help, in Kirkwall.
More often, demons have a harder time just getting across the Veil and mages are more aware and defensive against those whispers from the Fade.
How do Qunari mages ... eat?
Very carefully, in small bites and probably mostly through liquid.
A Saarebas’s mouth isn’t completely sewn shut and most of their intelligible words are mostly due to the control of their Arvaarad and not the stitches. So really they can open their mouths far enough to eat small bits they can get past the stitches, but it is probably painful and requires an Arvaarad to release them for a moment.
Fluid diets are probably common for Qunari mages, as it is easier and less painful to consume fluids than it is whole food in bites.
anything you're really hoping will be in DA:4? I really want age select/body sliders and the return of force magic bc that was dope
Return of Force and Blood Magic would be perfect, also the Ranger spec. Cause as much as I enjoyed using the Artificer spec, it wasn’t too useful and I could do a shit ton more with animal summoning.
I also really hope Bioware goes down the slave plot-line they were playing with, where the PC is a rising slave (or Tevinter merchant as a Dwarf).
omg. i see 'lion is 26 ' and i thought you were talking about su? i was freaking out bc i thought i missed an episode. either way, stay strong against these rando cis vultures!
oh no i wasnt talkin abt the su character, sorry for the confusion
