ROOM SKETCHES FOR STILLNESS
Room Sketches for Stillness is a collection of eight edited improvisations recorded in my home studio. The album is built from spontaneous sound sessions: fragments of live performance, processed samples, quiet textures, unstable tones, and small sonic gestures captured in the moment. Some of these pieces originated from the 11th and 12th sessions of A Space for Stillness, later divided into shorter tracks and reworked as part of a larger album structure. Rather than presenting fixed compositions, this work gathers traces of listening, reaction, and intuitive movement. Each track exists somewhere between ambient music and sound art — not as background music, but as a space where sound slowly appears, dissolves, and leaves behind a sense of stillness. This is music made from a room, but also music about the act of listening inside a room.
