It took a while until Starfire really started to truly doubt her, after all, and she didn’t expect her sister to be any different towards others. Always trying to see the good in others and all that, just typically stupid her.

“I have like the perfect way to take her down, but I need her to take something - away from her friends. I can call her to a location if I want, so the ‘away’ part isn’t the problem.” And since she wasn’t exactly on friendship-terms with Shen enough to simply get this done as a favor... “If we would succeed in taking her down, and if no one of her friends or anyone is gonna bother me until I’m sure I’m rid of her, I’d be happy to help you some in return. However you might need.” She had connections throughout galaxies, after all, surely she could get something that he would want or could make use of.

Krypto was shaking when Tintin approached, being locked alone in such a place, weakened by the use of a Kryptonite chain, it had turned him into a mess.

His ears weakly perked up at the sight of the man and he whined desperately, trying to paw his way closer to him. Yes! Cuddles! Hugs! Company! He didn't want to be alone again!

it’s only been hours since he sustained that broken arm and copious amount of scrapes and bruises after an encounter with his sister’s pursuers. for their friend ahn’s benefit who happen to witness the brawl, at least those bastards had the effort to make themselves look like regular thugs instead of privately hired dhampir by one of the elitist vetala families determined to kill them both. they really did a number on the guardian, and it will be a nightmare to cover up so he and his sister decided he’ll stay in for a few more days just to pretend he’s still mending a fracture.

“ay boon, i told you to lock the door - i’m supposed to be injured for at least a week--- shit!” the door widened to a fully healed art, able to move his supposedly broken arm around like nothing happened. “ahn! what are you doing here?”

♥ - When it comes to shipping, what factors are absolutely necessary for a ship to develop?

Okay so first of all, I know these hearts look different but this seems to be the most recent meme I reblogged, so I’m just gonna roll with this one.  If you do remember the specific meme please feel free to correct me on it and I’ll happily revise this post to reflect that! Now onto the headcanon!

For me, chemistry is a big factor - for me I find what helps is having a few preliminary interactions before leaping right into a ship.  In my early days, I would be willing to jump right into ships and then in some instances, I would just realize that our muses simply didn’t have any chemistry or I wasn’t feeling it.  This isn’t something that anyone’s fault but in my experience, it’s very easy to want to jump right into talking about your hypothetical ship, all of the kissing, the cuddles, etc - but for me, establishing some prior interactions first is a big must.  I want to know how they mesh as friends and then down the line we can start testing the water with some more romantic interactions - maybe a meme where they hold hands, maybe a cheek kiss or something - to me it’s just important to see how they would mesh together as lovers and how I would mesh with the other mun.  I don’t want it to be a situation where one of us is super into it and the other mun is hesitant or not feeling it.

Which brings me into honesty - honesty and transparency with your partner is important - if you’re not so sure about a ship or not feeling it, I think you need to be honest with them about it.  The fact of the matter is, it’s not fair to either party - it’s not fair for you to feel trapped in a ship that you might not even really like that much and it’s not fair for your partner to continue carrying on as if nothing is wrong.  For all they know, you could also be super into the ship and enjoying it as much as they are and nobody wants to be that bearer of bad news but for the sake of establishing a clear line of communication, honesty is always the best policy in my opinion.  Communicate with them, be open to discussing a solution or alternatives and if someone isn’t feeling it anymore, don’t take it personally - would you really rather have a ship where one party is forcing themselves?

I think last of all would be patience - the truly rewarding and good ships are ones that have a build up, that development, the base you can work with - for me, telling a ship is like telling a good progression of a story and mind you - you can write your story out of order, maybe you can start with them as lovers and begin writing their first meeting and leading up to how they reached that point.  So long as you and your partner are on the same page and heading towards the same destination together, just be patient and don’t rush the ship - some muns like myself, like to take our time for the sake of plot and progression - of course, not every mun is like this and I don’t at all fault people who would rather jump right into ships.  Just respect your partner’s wishes and don’t try to rush a ship or jump immediately into the shippy stuff just because that’s what you want.  Try to think of your partner and be patient with them.

song carried his cello in its case on his back as he held an umbrella up to block the rays of the sun from touching his skin. he absolutely refused to allow his new condition to alter how he lived — enjoying the walk from his apartment to the venue he and his band would be playing at that night. luckily, the group was still lesser known and he was able to move about in society without prying eyes. one thing he feared was his loss of privacy, but he knew some sacrifices were meant to be made if one wanted to continue on in life. he’d bumped into someone’s shoulder as he rounded a corner, a sharp hiss escaping him as the umbrella fell down and exposed his face to the sun. immediately, he stepped back into the shadow cast down by the building next to them and cradled one side of his face with his hand. despite how quick he was to react, he was so easily scorched by the sun that it was easy to see a burn forming beneath his hand. “please, could you hand that back to me?” he asked through the pain, motioning to the umbrella that laid on the ground. he kept his gaze averted, hoping to hide any visible damage on his skin — but the attempt wasn’t enough.

Introvert? Extrovert? Ambivert?

100% introvert. A thing I find incredibly difficult when it comes to roleplay here is to find someone to click with and with whom I’d feel comfortable enough to talk about anything and everythingㅡ and yet, I see all those rp partners who look like they all belong together and I feel like it can’t be that difficult, right? But, for some reason, whether it’s IRL or here or on any other platform/social media, making friends that I completely connect with for me is an incredibly difficult challenge. 

Do you focus more on talking role play first or talking casually about anything first?

I mostly talk roleplay first and most of the time, too. I don’t have many ooc conversations, they often don’t last too, but I cherish and appreciate them regardless!

Should people be nervous to send you things at all?

I don’t think so? I mean, I’ve been told ooc that people can’t figure me out because I’m too introverted, and here I feel like I’m just doing my things with the occasional rant/insecure ooc post, haha. If anything, I’m the one who’s nervous to send things to be honestㅡ because I’m all too aware that I’m just... me, you know? 

Is communication important to you?

I think that communication plays a big part in the development of a thread but also in the relationship between two muns. But at the same time that’s the one thing I’m bad at. I can’t communicate well with other muns and I feel like it shows in most of my threads; I love each of them and I am thankful for them but I think that except for some, I don’t know where I am going with them simply because we muns don’t communicate. But, it’s what it is and, once again, I’m thankful for all the threads I’ve had and currently have and will have.
