So William is maybe possibly actually Mulder's is what the book ultimately says? I dig it.

Finished Perihelion and I quite enjoyed it. Definitely need to be versed on the X Files lore to understand it. The whole arc of Scully having electricity powers (and people gaining powers due to the alien virus changing dna) isn't my favorite. It doesn't add anything to Scully as a character and just adds more unnecessary things into the X Files universe.

I love the ending, Mulder and Scully sitting in their daughter's nursery. I would love more books about them post revival but this felt like a good ending for them.

We know that MB is uninterested in the sex part of „this type of“ relationships, but maybe it would be more into the kink part.

I can see MB liking to take control and also giving up control. It would initially see this as a game it wants to win of course.

Consider this:

Mensah and MB: MB being a little turned on by Mensah not being at all scared of it and taking charge. (See: the scene in exit strategy when she grabs it to lecture it, and the times in fugitive telemetry when MB mentions Mensah‘s stern eyebrow glare.)

MB experimenting with ART about taking partial control over each other’s systems

Three and MB exploring SecUnits/SecUnit relationships. Three lets itself be bossed around by MB maybe (because MB the primary unit, no other reason of course) and they both like it more than expected.
