Day 1: First stop on my tour of @sierranevada Beer Camp is a White IPA brewed in collaboration with Kiuchi Brewery in Japan. This is a white IPA brewed with Coriander, Nutmeg and Yuzu. The beer is interesting for sure. These spices probably go more naturally in something like a saison, but they make for a very nice outside the box IPA. Not a lot going on with hops or buttering, all the flavors come from the spices. The yuzu adds a unique citrus quality and gives the beer some rounded edges that make it very drinkable.
