I’m planning something big with this picture
I just stumbled across an old note that actually made me chuckle while I was doomscrolling through my many too-traumatic-to-post-anywhere journal notes from the last few years:
When I placed my head between her legs I was drinking from the fountain of youth
And when she placed her lips on mine I was tasting the sweetest truth
A spark ignited when our bodies united, hers pressed up close against mine
Beautiful masterpieces composed of her melodic odes, every syllable absolutely divine
However, like all hearts often do, the magic within us had faded
All that had once shimmered glitter and gold had now become rusted and jaded
So when the colors of the sunset disappear into gray
Remember that it was you who threw our love away
So in this book I'm reading, it was talking about this higher plane that's above us, and in this higher plane there is no construct of time or space.
It's said that's where the gods and angels live. That's where your Muse lives and that's where all the art and masterpieces live.
So basically Romeo and Juliet, The Iliad, Beethoven symphonies... that's where they all came from.
It just took the work for a physical being, a human being, a workhorse of their craft to bring it into this space, this time and and this Earth.
So he suggests before we start working, we pray and honor our angels and our muses. We thank them for the opportunity to work today and we get to work without the excuses and maybe one day they will honor us with one of those masterpieces.
We will be the chosen one to bring it to this world.
