THE LOVERS: At what age did your muse first fall in love?

Kate falls in love easily and hard. Her first crush was probably when she was like 9, and it was probably some superhero she saw on TV. (Cap, it was Cap okay.) But the first time she really fell in love, or at least, thought it might be that, was with Eli. Her former Young Avengers teammate, Patriot. In the end, she decided not to make a go of it with him, because things were complicated enough, but she still thinks about him time to time, and wonders what might’ve happened.

Pietro prided himself on staying in shape - muscle atrophy was nothing to shake a stick at, after all - and taking daily runs around Manhattan. He did so at a restrained pace, both in respect of hiding from the call of the Accords, and in hopes of showing off. With all the work that he’d put into rebuilding his muscle, the least people could do was appreciate his hard work.

Which, it seemed that someone was.

He had stopped in the shade of a tree at Riverside Park, pulling his shirt off to shake it out. There weren’t a whole lot of people present, so he figured he could shake the moisture out without anyone seeing him use his speed and get it back on nice and dry. Instead, the woman had come along and just stopped.

“Like what you see?” Pietro teased with a wink, damp shirt temporarily forgotten.
