Ippudo Ramen Restaurant, The Gardens. Decided to try their Ippudo Kuro Ramen. Ippudo Kuro Ramen is an offering of ramen bathing in tonkotsu broth, topped with BBQ pork, flavored black fungus, spring onions, spicy blended miso paste and fragrant garlic. It was a mind blowing encounter. The broth alone was so aromatic that it really needed no extra seasoning. I liked the chewey texture of the ramen that goes so well with the BBQ pork. You can really taste the fragrance of the pork in the broth. The flavored black fungus lended its taste to the ramen, while the egg became one with the taste of the soup. I would say that I am impressed with the flavor, elegance and fragrance of Ippudo Kuro Ramen.
