Just got some BEAUITFUL Somerset velvet giclee prints in the mail that I ordered from #iprintfromhome and I'm so excited to announce that I will be opening a print shop on my site very soon!!! Stay tuned for more deatils💜
This week I ordered two of my prints through iprintfromhome and I'm really happy with them and will be using them again! They shipped really quickly, are good quality and priced fairly in my opinion. They also included some paper samples which will be nice to have for future orders. My iPad camera isn't doing them justice so no photos at the moment, but definitely look into them for your art prints.
We've been on the hunt for a good place with good prices for small prints. It's hard not only because balancing price with good quality but also trying to avoid getting prints with things printed on the back ;-; I've tried winkflash, which is 4~6 cents per print but quality is not so great. (Bad cropping and colors were a bit wonky. Filenames and winkflash are printed visibly on the back.) Then I moved on to iprintfromhome and snapfish, hoping for better results. If all else fails there's always Catprint, but it's on the priceyer side :/ We're also looking into Costco for small prints as well, if anyone has any experience with costco prints please share!
A quick comparision photo of a iprintfromhome print vs a snapfish print. I'm not print expert so I'm not too picky about colors. I think they both look good??
Image heavy under cut.
iprintfromhome 4x6 prints are 30 cents each. You can get your prints in Glossy, Matte or Lustre, there are other options too but they cost more. USPS first class shipping is $3 for any amount of prints, I believe. (You can get $10 account credit by creating a new account and entering "Tweet-Jae Chong" in the Referred By box! It also helps me out too, hehe.)
Color and cropping seem good! The image seems yellower than the original but it's not a problem, I think. Here's a crappy iphone pic of a print vs the original file.
The downside on the prints themselves are the backs. The prints have filenames and "kodak professional" printed lightly on the back.
If you're okay with 30 cents per print and need 50 or more prints, I would suggest going with Catprint instead tbh (especially if you're also needing large prints so you can combine shipping). Their large print quality is great and the backs are blank c:

Snapfish 4x6 prints are 9 cents each. Prints are available in Glossy and Matte. Shipping varies based on how many prints you order, for 55 prints I paid $3.44. (You get 55 free prints when you make an account! Also they currently have a 99 prints for 99 cents deal going on until Sept 30.)
Color and cropping are good as well. The colors are less yellow than the iprintfromhome prints? Also they seem a bit more saturated.
These also do not have blank backs, which was expected.
Snapfish prints are better than I thought! I'd recommend getting their penny prints and 55 free prints, although 9 cents per print isn't bad at all.
So some of the x-ray techs heard about my sketches and they had me bring in my book to show them. They actually liked them, like genuinely liked them.
My classmate, the Jennifer Lawrence twin, she loved every single one of them when she turned the pages. She then bookmarked each one she would like to have. The funny thing was she looked through this book about 6 times and would show everyone that would pass by the area. She said when showing them off, "I feel like a proud mama!"
She got me thinking about selling prints. I really would love to sell them and get some cash from it.
I'm looking at iprintfromhome.com and it's just the beginning of looking about on how to sell prints to people who want them.
I just am really curious as to how a pencil drawing will turn out.
Four of them are Giclee prints on somerset velvet paper, and two printed on metallic photo paper.
Six prints, ranging from a 4 x 5 to a 9 x 12, propped up in my messy studio.
The company I used is wonderful. There are no setup fees and you provide your own scans and photos to be printed; so there are no scanning fees either. There is also no minimum order.
Everything was shipped well protected in a thick envelope with cardboard inside to keep any of the prints from bending. I used the free shipping option (available if you spend over 30 dollars) and got my prints in a week. They can ship much faster if needed. They also included a paper sampler and calibration kit. I'm going to try a canvas print next.
Go to iprintfromhome.com to order beautiful prints!
Type Tweet-dragonstarart in the referral box to get 10 dollars credit towards your first order.
Here are the lovely prints again. The two borderless ones on top are the metallic prints and the other four are the giclee prints. They have wide borders on them to make them easier to handle and frame. These are going to be prizes in my first giveaway!
