There's music coming from a few halls over. It's hard to miss; there are occasionally sounds in The Inn that suggest habitation, but they tend to be more like footfalls or muffled voices. If there's music, it must mean there's people nearby, and wandering aimlessly hasn't done Tikoh much good. She'll take a gamble that there's someone or something nearby, and maybe they'll need help.
Perhaps it was presumptuous of her to come here at all. But it's too late to worry about that. She can help people or she can leave, and her pride as a doctor won't let her do the latter without at least trying to do the former.
Pushing open a set of ornate doors reveals a large room on the other side, far larger than the hallways and guest rooms Tikoh's seen so far. It looks to be some kind of unused ballroom, with a raised section at the rear for a musical accompaniment, but while there are seats for musicians, there aren't actually any instruments. But all the same, music fills the air from some unseen source, slightly discordant to her sharp ears. But more distracting than that is the figure (figures?) shifting about the room, disappearing and reappearing at random intervals.
She only realizes there are two of them when they appear next to each other and immediately begin trying to grapple each other. Physical combat doesn't seem to be their strong suit.
"Excuse me?" she says, raising her voice just slightly over the music. "I don't mean to interrupt, but I just couldn't help but notice you two."
Tiokh draws closer, drumming her fingers along her staff in time to the beat. There's still some discord under the surface, just enough to make her ears twitch in frustration.
"I'm just wondering if you need any help," she tries. "You're struggling with your other self, right? Well, I'm just trying to make sure we can all get out of here mostly intact. Do you... need anything?"
