Militant tool kits and the “higher up’s” agenda: Evidence of US-ISIS collaboration grows as leaked US document confirms the conspiracy
Half way through 2015 a rash of articles and blogs hit the net accusing the US government of aiding and supplying ISIS. The first reports, as it turns out, did not come from the mouths of American officials or soldiers, but rather from frontline Iraqi fighters. Mainstream media largely ignored the headlines, instead leaving the info war to be fought by bloggers, radio show hosts, and independent journalists willing to risk their reputations. Today, with more information now painting IS as a western proxy war tool, and journalists unable to disprove the conspiracy, a bigger picture inches its way into view.
Farsnews published early follow-ups to reports of Iraqi soldiers condemning the US for helping IS. In addition to fighters physically seeing US aircraft drop supplies in IS controlled areas, their leaders bugged the enemy's communications. Commander of Iraq’s Ali Akbar Battalion reportingly wiretapped Islamic State comms, claiming to have discovered “US planes have been dropping weapons and foodstuff” to the militants. Iraqi forces, after a prolonged eavesdropping breach, were eventually able to ascertain that IS communicates with elements inside the US Army. It is noteworthy that the clandestine US Delta Force troops in Iraq serving as “advisors” are attached to the Army.
Having already destabilized Iraq and Syria the Islamic State, fueled by a growing international following, now threatens to sink the entire region into war. DannyProtest recently covered reports of the hardline militant death cult clashing with Afghanistan’s Taliban insurgency. It began with small numbers of Taliban defecting to IS, then a firefight erupted killing scores of militants on both sides. According to numerous sources, the two groups have since declared war on one another. The international community shuttered at the idea of the Islamic State claiming Afghanistan, particularly since US forces still occupy the country. As fears spread former Afghan president Hamid Karzai warned IS could never gain influence in Afghanistan without foreign help.
Mintpress published a piece mentioning the possibility of the caliphate in Afghanistan, accepting that IS is a western tool. The piece made reference to a recently leaked government document which, Mintpress reports, prove what Iraqi fighters have said all along. The conservative law accountability advocacy group Judicial Watch obtained the secret 2012 US Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) document, describing IS as a tool for regime change. The document, according to Mintpress, also identifies several regional US allies as key players in fueling the group. Turkey, for example, is listed in the DIA document as having escorted Islamic State fighters across the border into Syria.
“Our allies in the region”, confesses VP Joe Biden, Mintpress reports, “were our largest problem in Syria. The Turks were great friends [and] the Saudis, the Emirates, etc. What were they doing? They poured hundreds of millions of dollars and tens of tons of weapons into anyone who would fight against Assad.”
The document went onto describe the Islamic State’s role in the international agenda for the region. According to Zerohedge, the report details how the west used groups like ISIS and others to fight Assad instead of sending in it’s own troops. The background motives of foreign entities quickly mutated the civil war into a proxy war; the US and the west supported any opposition to Assad while Iran, China, and Russia backed the regime. Iran, interestingly enough, is also involved in the tale of ISIS in Afghanistan. Both current and former Taliban fighters told journalists that Taliban leadership met with Iranian entities just before attacks were launched.
As the conflict became more muddied by outside powers, fighters, and evolving motives, predictions were made on how these groups would interact. DIA’s document’s predictions, such as groups conjoining into what we now call ISIS, were three years old by the time it went public.
Security analyst Shoebridge, Zerohedge reports, in response to the documents’ revelations, predicts that mainstream media will soon largely ignore stories on Syria’s rebels. When the war was still young many talking heads advocated for the arming of “moderate” rebels to topple Assad’s regime. Some of these “moderate rebels” became ISIS and other extremist groups which now plague the region today. Shoebridge predicts the mainstream to ignore stories of moderate Syrian fighters due to recent failures to train new battalions and to avoid risking revealing its own previous hypocrisy.
When ISIS crossed into Iraq and ran over the American trained Iraqi Army the only really effective and motivated ground force left were the Kurds. Peshmerga units, notorious for fearlessness on the battlefield, rushed into the fray to protect the land they shared with other Iraqi’s. In the end, however, they were and are fighting for Kurdish interests, not for the puppet government in Baghdad. ISIS was briefly stalled by the Peshmerga efforts before regaining speed, many wondered where the fuel came from.
When Kurdish commanders request US coalition airstrikes, the Fifth Column reports, sometimes their men disappeared with IS. American partner-state Turkey, sources report, has targeted Kurdish positions as it should the Islamic State’s. The Fifth column also references the existence of several very lucrative US contracts invested in the region which Baghdad’s puppet regime sustains.
In Syria the problem is Assad, and apparently international entities are working on that. In Iraq, on the other hand, the puppet government is weak enough that even the Kurds could gain power, which is why they’re being bombed with ISIS. According to the Fifth Column, Iraq’s third war will continue so long as Assad remains in power, and US troops will likely have to eventually get involved.
DIA’s disclosed document, Zerohedge reports, also recommends no-fly-zones be established over Syria, similar to what happened in Libya. Libya, as it turns out, plays a key part in the connection between the west and ISIS. According to New Eastern Outlook (NEO), a “US asset” in Libya announced he’s leading the country's Islamic State cell. The man was identified by an unnamed US intelligence official as Abdelhakim Belhadj, possessing an extensive history with America’s shadier military ambitions. Since 2011 Belhadj, according to NEO, was held up as a courageous freedom fighter by the west, leading his men against the tyrant Gaddafi. He’d received accolades by Sen. John MCcain, and was left as a top warlord in Tripoli.
Despite praise by US officials, according to NEO, Belhadj is deeply involved in terrorist cells in Afghanistan and Iraq. While in power in Libya Belhadj’s death squads facilitated the mass killing of black Libyans, as well as any armed Gaddafi loyalists. Washington’s man, in fact, was reportingly tortured by the CIA and has boasted of killing American soldiers in Iraq.
Of course it’s simply not possible for a vast majority of the American audience to be informed of these revelations. We live in a odd time where some Americans joyfully label particular politicians as corrupt without accepting that the entire system is corrupt. Obama, for example, simply inherited a responsibility to maintain a machine which has been running for a very long time. Even Bush, who has been disowned in some circles for launching the war on terror, was also simply a spokesman and custodian. People who look to mainstream media for reliable information likely don’t know that the CIA essentially owns many corporate media networks. The American information flow is deeply regulated, monitored, and aimed for very specific reasons. Such a reality leaves the few individuals willing to pass the along the contrary to shoulder the responsibility to do what they can. Despite this, even if people know the truth, moving them to do something about it is a entirely different step in evolution.
