yeah!! see i was definitely concerned cause ygo is so intertwined with egyptian mythology that it felt wrong to completely erase it, so i like the idea of incorporating different pantheons! i LOVE anzu being the kid of a muse, that’s so good!! and atem as a child of ra/amun also feels right <3 good for him <3

In all honesty, the Master is more or less surprised to hear that. Not a monster? Is the other thinking straight because there’s many reasons why the hooded man is one then isn’t. Enough so that he’s curious on hearing the opposite of what his thoughts has been continuously been telling him.

so long as they don't turn it into a Riverdale, Teen Wolf, Vampire Diaries kind of show we should be good.
I’m just as worried they’ll turn it into a Game of Thrones kind of show that doesn’t respect the source material or its fanbase.
But yes, it’s just as possible it could end up like a CW drama. Though if it gets the Black Lightning treatment as opposed to the Supergirl treatment, I think we’ll be okay.
