Unpopular opinion: something about the sksksks keysmash irritates me on a deep, fundamentally petty level I can't explain. Back in MY day we put effort into our keysmashes and they contained multiple letters of the alphabet that spread across the entire middle row of the QWERTY keyboard askfljsdf!!!
I feel bloody ancient because I had no idea there WAS another way to do the keysmash LOL. What is this sksksks stuff??? Lazy! Pedestrian!! Where is the artistry??? The kids these days....
AHHH i had the exact same thought about rarepairs fest! "what do you mean i can't just prompt charpocalypse 10 times and call it a day?!" i just love everything about the pair ;_;

They are prompts that I feel may be too close (the 1001 nights AU and the twisted fairy tale AU and I can’t choooooose), and there are prompts that already got great fills but I’m greedy and would read 100 more of it. And I always wonder “should I try again this that I already prompted or should I find new prompts?”

I'm someone who's far more involved with the DW side of fandom than Tumblr, and a couple of friends and I got to talking about the recent happenings on Tumblr. One of the biggest questions we've been having so far is: assuming a gradual exodus from Tumblr continues - because there's definitely *some* movement already - what do you think are the chances that purity culture bullshit will be left behind with Tumblr?
The massive surge of anti/purity culture can chiefly be blamed on-- well a few factors, but the sheer proliferation comes from the way tumblr functions as a platform. The anarchy of it and the lack of moderation. If fandom migrates to Pillowfort, which outright bans callout posts and has communities again, then yes, we will see a dramatic drop in the horseshit. Antis won’t vanish, but their powers will be curtailed heavily.
