lawlu AU in which Law is Death, and he's been losing his mind lately because there's this stupid boy with a straw hat who won't stop putting himself in danger 24 hours a day, and it makes his "person about to die" alert turn on.

It is very frustrating because said boy always ends up surviving somehow, thus wasting Law's precious time. He's so tired of it all that he eventually shows up in his room one night to basically tell him:

"Listen, either you stop doing crazy shit, or you actually die for once. I don't care which one you choose, but please, please just stop this madness, I'm exhausted and it's all your fault, I hate you so much."

He's probably on the verge of tears as he says this, but the boy, who introduces himself as Luffy, doesn't seem too bothered.

"You're funny, death guy!"

He laughs. This foolish excuse of a human being laughs. And oh boy, if he doesn't have the brightest, most charming smile Law has ever seen.

Well he's fucked.

Kuina lives AU (with a hint of zosan)

8-year-old Zoro going up to Kuina all nervous and blushy, as he struggles to ask her the big question:

"Do you… do… do… do you want to be my older sister?!"

And Kuina just bursts out laughing because oh gods, this boy is so ridiculous but also weirdly cute, in his own way.

"Damn, you're unbelievable, for a moment I thought you were going to ask me to be your girlfriend or something, phew!" she says.

"Ewwwww, no way! Kissing girls is gross!" Zoro immediately squeals, disgusted.

"If you say so."

10 years later, a recently turned adult Zoro sits next to his sister after sparring, and he has that bashful look again, like he did when he was just a kid asking for a family. His ears are red at the tips and Kuina knows something's up even before he starts talking:

"Hey, nee-san… you know, I still… I still think kissing girls is gross."

Kuina looks at him silently for a moment, and blinks, slowly processing Zoro's words.

"If this is your lame idea of coming out of the closet, please save it. I already know you’re gay," she finally says.

"What?!"

"Was it like... supposed to be a secret? Because it’s pretty obvious that you like that blond friend of yours. Sanji-kun, was it?

"WHA-?! I'm-! No I don't!!!" Zoro screams, with a surprisingly high-pitched voice for a man so big. "I hate him, we’re not even friends actually, he’s just always there and-!"

"I’m going to pretend I believe that…" she cuts him.

"Come on, nee-san!"

And they keep bickering all morning, until eventually Kuina tricks Zoro into telling her about his taste in men. It all goes downhill from there. Zoro pretends to hate the conversation, but deep down he's really enjoying their little moment, and Kuina knows this too.

It's nice to have an older sister.
