I only just realized Jisan village's thing of the chosen sacrifice dying and becoming a god was foreshadowing.

Since KSE's current body is a Good Friend™, and if he dies he'd go back into his original body, the summoned Ireum-nim.

There is another related thing I'm curious about though, we know with Braun that aside from just the mind, the Good Friend summoning also filters the abilities the being has.

I'm pretty sure that KSE's wiki editing abilities are derived from himself and not the ghost stories making up his Good friend body,

So I wonder if his editing powers are much stronger or have less of a drawback in his original body.

The horseman of the apocalypse taxi drivers seem more important then they let on, and given the that the DER is about the events leading to the apocalypse, I feel like they’ll become more relevant

This one’s not a prediction, but given that we’ve heard about Soleum’s loving family and past, I want more reminiscing on his past world

When he spun that wheel in his og world in chapter 1, who was it that spoke to him before he came to the world of DER? That entire sequence of events is still a mystery

While I do feel like part 2 is going to end horrifically, given that the author’s a sadist, the author also has a clear tendency to make use of plot holes/inconsistencies/unused material- and though I initially had the impression that GSGW was going to end, everything has been going horribly so I no longer believe that! Not only has dear Roe Deer been the starter of a cult, but the follower of one, I can’t help but feel like there’s a luminous part 3 on the way…

theory: will kim soleum's good friend body being fully destroyed/irrecoverable result in the "good friend" restriction being removed?

just as braun's good friend restriction was removed after the plush bunny became irrecoverable, would this result in kim soleum becoming unrestricted? good friend kim soleum is NOT an entirely seperate entity, as stated by the kim soleum in the cocoon and good friend kim soleum. it's just a filter. long theory post ahead!

even when ksh got screwed over, his good friend body was still present and usable in the world somehow (despite being mush, like in the 130666 era). same for when he was in the segwang time loop--even after he died and entered, the vessel somehow became used again when he escaped.

so theoretically, if he could NEVER use his original good friend body again, would the filter be removed? because even when the good friend ritual was repeated with braun, the restriction disappeared--braun only kept it up because it was fun for him. the restriction was only kept with the FIRST doll.

‘Now that he’s been summoned into the Good Friend plush, is he bound by that rule again…?’ But unlike before, I could now be sure. The other party is treating the Good Friend’s restraint as a form of amusement. Even though the restraint no longer served a purpose, he’s acting this way out of a sort of nostalgia and willingness to play along… or something along those lines.

so if the original "good friend kim soleum" body became unusable, it's reasonable to assume the restraint would be gone, just as the restraint disappeared after braun's first good friend plush body became unusable. another question: if the restraint disappeared, would he be more like the insane cocoon soleum? albeit maybe more clear-minded, since he's receiving counselling from ho--maybe he would even have memories of receiving ing counselling since he "can't percieve it in his current form"...but maybe he would also experience his memories as the host, ireum-nim, that spread the segwang biological disaster...

i think that his ireum-nim-like personality will come to light...i really do, there's a lot of foreshadowing with it since he's started 2 cults already. and for example, when j3 tried to eat his black smoke...

this specific quote stands out to me because of the sense of arrogance present--i don't think this sense of superiority is much present in 130666. even his other contaminations which puts itself in a more "superior role" ie lord cat and the golden resort mascot don't really act like that. i think this is specifically ireum-nim. there's also something to be said about his two contaminations that are "closest" to him on his tattoo being ones that are put into leadership positions over subservience...

so...it was ultimately kim soleum that spread the gospel of "the world without ghost stories existing"--and possibly that "this world full of suffering was only made to be entertainment". the very same gospel that the church of the luminous unknown abides by. so, he made the concept of "ireum-nim" exist in the DER world. that should be the first point in the timeline that "ireum-nim" was mentioned, since the initial goal of the cheerful research institute was not specifically to summon "ireum-nim", but "someone who lives in a world without ghost stories".

that terrifying truth of "our world existing for entertainment" ONLY became known and publicized because he was summoned by the cheerful research institute, went insane because of the music box, and then brainwashed and infected segwang metropolitan village with that truth.

and somehow, this truth was spread OUTSIDE of segwang metropolitan city. how that happened is an UNKNOWN, but that truth/gospel ESCAPING segwang metropolitan city likely lead to the beginning of the church of the luminous unknown. however, while he started the fundamental truth / gospel of the church, he may not have been involved himself with the formal founding of the cult. cause he was a crazy cocoon trapped in segwang lol.

question now: how exactly did the truth spread outside despite cocoon soleum being stuck in segwang, and how will the cultists react to kim soleum being the initial spreader of gospel, if not ireum-nim himself?

anyway...in short, i really believe that kse's ireum-nim-like personality will come to light sooner or later (tho it might be calmed because of counselor ho's therapy), especially because his new ID card is that of the church of the luminous unknown. he's acknowledged his identity, but it doesn't feel like he's really addressed that "i'm the god that all these freakazoids are following and i said all that stuff in the first place while i was infected". and i think it might happen if his good friend restriction actually gets removed.
