He turned in bed and his eyes flutter open, only to close again when the plain white ceiling had greeted him a slightly lifeless morning in the cold hotel room they were staying in. They had finished the Nagoya showcase the previous night, and were Tokyo-bound that day. Even with the lucky six-hour sleep, he only had the energy to actually get up and ready for airport, his supposed upbeat and eager mood to face fans still lost—until he checked his phone, his spirit lifted soon after hearing the voicemail. A toothy grin settled on his lips as soon as it ended, the maknae sitting on the bed beside his noticing it and returned one of his knowing smiles. Recording a voicemail in response, Myungsoo held the phone near to his lips and spoke, with slightly slurred speech due to the sleep lingering in his system. “Uh— more importantly, why are you up at two AM?” he chuckled and hugged the pillow close to his face, his eyes crinkling into ever-charming crescents. "Fly to Japan? Please? Really, if only my request to stay longer and spend time with you would be granted..." he muttered wistfully, a soft sigh escaping his pale lips. "Let's spend the holidays together, hm? I love you too."
