Though he wasn’t lying, no explanation would be sensible enough to make this situation any less ridiculous. Vaulting along rooftops was often the fastest way to get from one side of the city to another, but, things didn’t always go as planned. A stray, thankfully-unpowered, wire had caught his ankle just as he made a jump, causing him to plummet straight down and dangle upside-down in the narrow space between buildings. It happened so fast that he couldn’t rewind… but, that might have ended up working in his favor.
The tattooist he had become acquainted with was the first to find him in his sorry state, and the bemused look on her face caused his cheeks to burn with indignation. This… was embarrassing. And that sultry chuckle of hers wasn’t helping! But then those lush lips turned upwards, a mischievous grin gracing her lovely features as she drew closer. Hands found the boy’s cheeks as she leaned in, enough to ghost her lips along his chin.
..At that point, even if she was trying to just embarrass him further, he wasn’t complaining. Not when it meant a small, sweet kiss from a beautiful woman.

Ekko stumbled as he took a hard blow to the side of his face, head spinning with the force. He blinked rapidly, as a low groan escaped his lips without him meaning it to- trying to clear his eyes of the flashing neon lights blocking them. He needed to return to the fight he had so gracefully involved himself in. (Un)fortunately, whoever had struck the boy had now fled, and when his vision cleared from blocked to blurry, he swore softly, still supporting himself with one arm.
“Uhh…” His voice came out slurred, and he could at least notice this. He took ten more seconds to inhale fresh air, sighing heavily before frowning over in the woman’s direction- disoriented and in a continuing, stabbing pain. “Sure, yeah, uhh.. I’ll be fine.” The Zaunite wanted to rewind the latest event, to avoid the strike and plan his attacks with more precision- but he couldn’t even think about that, not at the moment. The only deduction he could make was that he was definitely concussed.

I’ve older experiences of rping this wonderful old main of mine, but to be honest? I was driven out of the fandom once before, so how interesting it will be to bring her back. I did enjoy her.
