okay I'm super pumped for this!! how does this change the dynamic between padme, Anakin, and Obi? what does Anakin do to make obi think he is the clone? will jar jar make an appearance?

they are Best Friends. that’s the most important thing. this trio needs to feel close, like family, so that a) obi wan feels a little betrayed personally when anakin and padme get together because not only are they thumbing their noses at the jedi order, but also at him, bc they’re messing with the dynamic and b) i actually buy that they all have deep history & caring for each other in a way that isn’t awkward n forced

anakin starts talking to obi wan about “maybe palpatine is right, maybe the jedi order is completely fucked, maybe we should either leave or join him” and obi wan is like “in no way shape or form do you sound like my friend right now” and then Both of them look at each other like... are you a clone? are you a fake? are you saying what you’re saying in order to lead me astray? obi wan demands that anakin say the code they devised to know who was Real and anakin is too upset to play along with those games and goes “we are so way past that, you should trust me by now” which obi wan sees as more proof that anakin isn’t himself

and neither of them would let it go so far under other circumstances but they end up dueling and obi wan wins. and then has to live with it
