https://youtu.be/xdq8EgUYjh0 In this video, I used self mixed iridescent colors in a flip cup fluid art piece. I used Iridescent Blue that was mixed with 2:1 Ultramarine Blue to Iridescent White; Iridescent Yellow that was mixed 2:1 Cadmium Yellow Deep Hue to Iridescent White; and Iridescent Magenta that was mixed 2:1 Quinacridone Magenta to Iridescent White. I used Titanium White for my base coat and for layering in my cup. My pouring medium to paint ratio was 2:1. My pouring medium was 3:1:1:1 Floetrol, GAC 800, Liquitex Pouring Medium, and Distilled Water. I overstretched because I have trouble getting all of the corners and sides, but overall after it has dried, it reminds me of a dead tree or a winter tree with a lot of foggy moonlight. I love trees and the moon, so I ended up liking it for myself. I was trying to make a painting for my grandmother and this one won’t work for that, so I will have to try again another time. I sped up a lot of the video and added music from a royalty free relax playlist from Spotify.
