"My kind of woman" — Like how Iris and Kay find each other in the little things of people, where Iris and Kay would unintentionally seek out friends who have some of the same traits as each other and have time with them whenever the other is busy.
"And I'm down on my hand's and knees, begging you please 'baby, show me your world' " — Like how Iris has to beg so so soo often just for Kay to let her know how she's actually feeling. Like how Iris desperately has to chase after Kay because she keeps running away from her and separating her personal health from Iris and it makes her sick with worry each day when she notices something off with kay, yet the ravenette only insists it's a mere migraine. Like how Iris feels so absolutely paranoid after the ghost camera incident to where Iris feels unable to breathe when Kay doesn't give a check up on her health every end of the week.
"You're making me crazy, really driving me mad" — Like how Iris sometimes starts an argument with Kay over her habit of detaching herself and isolating her actual self when she feels remotely unwell, ending in tears when Iris begs Kay to be honest to her because Iris hates being lied at and Kay knows so more than any of Iris's friends ever could and Kay apologizing and promising to try and be more honest (she ends up accidentally doing it again the next time it happens). Like how some times, even with how chill Kay might seem, she'll sometimes snob Iris for being so pushy with what she chooses to reveal to her. Kay loves Iris, she really does, but she can't deny that Iris has grown a little paranoid since the ghost camera.
"But that's alright with me, really no fuss" — Like how Kay often reassures Iris that she's alright, leading in many soft hugs and cuddles with movies and Netflix. Like how despite Iris's insistent behavior of constantly needing to know how she's doing with a layer of false nonchalance, Kay adores how worried Iris can be for her and so continues to shower Iris with affection, thus maintaining their relationship healthily despite the ups and downs.
"As long as you're next to me, just the two of us" — Like how even before the camera ghost, Kay has always preferred Iris's company and how everything slowed down to a halt being with Iris. Like how Kay is a very calm and chill person, but seems even more so around Iris, like the darker-skinned woman is Kay's personal chamomile tea and needs her around when she needs relaxation. Nothing sexual, of course.
"I'm feeling so tired, really falling apart." — Like how Kay would never complain when she was getting those waves of nausea during the camera ghost incident, but Iris still, always noticed when it'd happen. When warm, gentle moments become stiff with Kay's misfortune and Iris's overwhelming helplessness of not knowing what to do to help her, cursing Iris to remain at her side, merely being beside her and not being able to do more.
"I really don't know, why you stick right next to me," — Like how Kay wonders what she's done to have such a lovely, such a loyal 'friend' like Iris. Like how Kay holds her hand tight when she starts to feel dizzy again, biting the inside of her cheek as tears pool down her chubby cheeks, wondering, pondering in such desperation, in such a vulnerable moment, what exactly she has done to deserve such a reliable friend like Iris, who stares at her like she's the only good thing in her world. Like she's the best choice she's ever made in her entire life. And as Kay catches such a loving expression on Iris's face, she genuinely can't help but tear up again. Because despite the burden of her being sick weighs on Iris, she still spends most of her day with Kay. Like she doesn't worry her everyday, like Iris doesn't spend most nights awake wondering what possible methods she could use to ease her pain, even just a little bit.
"My, my, my my kind of woman." — Like how over time, the two slowly adapt to the little things the other does, and takes it in as a new accidental habit. Like how Iris soon takes Kay's habit of bringing up her wrist to her forehead when she's upset, or how Kay takes Iris's habit of having a small smile to look friendly when not talking to anyone or just idling around. Like how Iris and Kay sometimes bring of the other in their other friend groups, bringing up traits of them whenever the topic of romantic preferences come along. It makes it absolutely obvious to even strangers that they're already attracted to the other.
"And I'm down on my hand's and knees, begging you please 'baby, show me your world' " — Like how slowly, patiently, Kay starts to work around her avoidance of vulnerability, starting to get rid of her awful habit of pulling away when remotely upset, starting to open up when she feels off or dizzy around Iris, the two of them making baby steps together and celebrating when they get somewhere. It's mere inches, and Kay slips into that habit from time to time, but Iris is a patient woman. brimming with love and affection for the wonderful woman she's met called Kay, how could she ever stay mad at such a beautiful girl?
