FINALLY! AT LONG LAST! The Dungeon World campaign epilogue is FINISHED! 208 pages later, the story that began with a small warehouse catching fire in an unremarkable little town is DONE! It is months and months overdue, but I’ve been a busy bee, and I’ve been putting off working on this because letting go of things is hard. But here it is at last! The epilogues of Dau, Noland, Shaya and Iris and Tim (and their fire-babies). And also Keir and his adorable pacifist orc boyfriend Aldéric whom we never actually got to meet in person but I just HAD TO draw anyway. <3 The collected edition will go up on Patreon/Gumroad as soon as I’m able to get it all together. Today, July 7th, marks the one year anniversary of our campaign. It’s been one year of fire, chaos and saving the world from vampires, liches and War. And because the universe aligned just so, we played the last session of the campaign last night. We have some epilogue discussions to have, and I’ve got recap comics to draw of last night’s session and of those epilogue discussions, but then we’re finished. Last night marks the last time I play Iris. It’s been a heck of a run, and once I finish all the recap comics, I’ll probably do a bigger writeup of how I feel about all this. Dungeon World session 41: War, and What Comes After Always bring a Cleric to a dragon-fight - and a Gelatinous Cube-Druid! <3 And also don’t piss off a.) the lady made of fire, or b.) the Templar/Inquisitor who can break magic when he wants to. ... as final battles of campaigns go, I’d say fighting the spirit of War possessing an ancient bone-dragon while standing on the roof of a despot’s palace is pretty top notch! And yes, this is the final battle of the campaign. We’re into epilogue-territory now! We just have a trial to get through, and some discussion of what our characters end up doing next, and then we’ve wrapped it all up! Dungeon World session 40: Fire and Spirits. Iris has spent the entire campaign so far - and in fact the last 6 years of her life - thinking she’s possessed by a stubborn spirit. Finding out she isn’t is a heck of a shock. A big enough shock that she’s about to change from being an Immolator into a new class - as per Dungeon World’s rules; she’s hit lv 10. It’s time for a change! Dungeon World Session 38: BARFIGHT! Where a lot of things get smashed, Dau is the only one who doesn’t, and we meet a new pal!
