"It was that ridiculous boy, Matt something or other." Iris waves her hand.
"One of the reasons he's always disgruntled when doing searches here is probably because you mangle his name grandma." Jana sighs.
"I'll be telling his mother how rude he is."
"You always do," Jana puts the glasses to dry. "you know she despises you."
"Of course," Iris looks insulted for a moment before breaking out in a grin. "It's a mutual loathing, needs reaffirmation every week."
Jana shakes her head with a chuckle. "I can only hope to have as much venom as you do when I'm your age."
"Aim higher dearie."
