“gosh it’s so lovely out.” iris said as she leaned against dimitri’s body. they were sitting outside taking in the peacefulness around them. they had been working a lot, but always found time to wind down and relax with one another. sometimes with certain activities, and the other times just being in each other’s arms. her fingers draws circling on his arms. 

“i wish every moment to just be as peaceful as this.” she turned her head to look at him. “i’m so so lucky to have found you.” she smiled. they both fell into the puddle of never thinking they would love until they found each other. it was hard, fast, and she loved it.

taking a deep breath, she opened her eyes to the small light of sunlight coming in. looking over, she smiled when she saw dimitri’s face. his arms still wrapped around her. she leaned in and kissed him softly before placing small butterfly kisses all over his face. “good morning, handsome.” she whispered.

Iris had a long day of paperwork, and what better way to relax than a bottle of wine? Possibly seeing a certain face would definitely help. The siren made her way over to his place. It was like she didn’t need to think, her feet would just take her there. Dimitri’s place always made her in awe with how amazing it was. She was jealous she didn’t get a house like this. Sure, her was big and lovely, but this was something else.

Part of her just wanted to walk inside, but she didn’t want to push her luck. Instead, she rang his door bell and stepped back to wait for him. Bottle of wine in hand.

Using her copy of the key to his house, Iris already decided to make herself at home. She had brought them dinner, but he didn’t seem to be home during the time of her arrival. It wasn’t like she texted him that she was going to be heading over. She liked keeping things surprising and refreshing. The siren decided while she waited, she would just take a shower to relax and freshen herself up. 

After the shower, she heard noise and smirked. “Oh, Dimitri, so happy you’re finally home.”

just like planned, they were going out to somewhere fancy. even though iris wasn’t completely moved in yet, she did bring the majority of her important things in the next day. too excited to wait any longer. as she was putting stuff in her new ‘closet’, she noticed something hanging. unzipping the bag, it reveled a beautiful black dress. the siren couldn’t hold back her smile. she didn’t expect him to get her a dress just for dinner, but then again, he was unpredictable. 

it didn’t take iris long to do her hair, makeup, and slipped on the long dress. it was deep cut with a silver belt, and a slit on the side. before she was distracted by the dress, she almost didn’t notice the shoes. “dimi.” she whispered with a grin. iris slipped those on before making her way downstairs.

“the hall of mirrors.” iris stated out loud as she walked in behind the other. “if you wanted to just look at yourself, you could just do it at home.” she joked with a laugh. “i don’t blame you though.” dimitri always looked good. at work, after work, at night, right in the morning when they both were just waking up. it was like a god crafted him to be this good looking. “i also think it wouldn’t be so kid friendly if we had sex.” she smirked.

Iris’ head was still spinning. She couldn’t believe her sister was here. Maybe it was all still a dream. She stepped away from her sister for a second to allow her to have a breather. As much as she didn’t want to walk away, she felt like they needed to gather their thoughts. As she was walking, she bumped shoulders. Her eyes looking up to a familiar person. “Dimitri.” She breathed out before kissing him. After a second, she pulled away. “I needed to make sure I wasn’t in a dream.” She still couldn’t wrap her head around it all. “My sister’s here.”
