Tell me why in one night I got asked to join a band (declined) invited to two private sessions (one of them actually paid) and one 3 day trad festival. Wtf. The standard of music in Ireland is so high i though i was only average at this pls

not to be happy on main but i sat in at a session i was kinda nervous for (cause i'm not a regular) last night and had so much fun: all friendly, very welcoming and kind folks. it's really given me the energy i need for the weekend, which is lovely.

gonna go to another on sunday, so it's like i'm bookending the weekend by doing something i love.
