Irishidea-Nostalgia
(Blows the dust off)
Well, well, this blog has been ailing for more than five years now and after I got to know it still exists, I had this urge to reanimate it. (CHARGED! *brrrzzz*) - Whatever!
Let me tell you a heart-warming story about another blog-project I took part in. (takes a shot of whiskey) In the genial afternoon on June 3rd 2012 Ayuk came up with the idea to create a blog called "irishidea". I was all for it, as I am always all for something when someone I like has a good idea. While Ayuk cared for this blog like it was her own child, I was kind of the passive parent, that just watched it grow and sometimes hardly posted anything, while nobody knew who I even was; just like I was batman. [I obviously not am Batman... Maybe.] Someday I ceded the blog completely to my mate and it was satisfying to see how much it has grown throughout the years. By now it is not called irishidea any more, but I still love this blog for what it is [and for its owner], because the irishidea-spirit has never left at all.
Oh, these tears of Nostalgia are just like my crisps... Oh wait, these crisps are not very salty, but they have BBQ-taste. Imagine tears tasted like BBQ... We can put irishidea out of our URL, but not out of our hearts.
[Some time ago I have found a letter, which I have received during the irishidea-period. It was coloured in the colours of the irish flag and its "design" looked like tumblr. Remember?]
