I got the masitas with fried plantains and moros. These pieces of pork were so tender they melted in your mouth and had plenty of flavor. The Iron beer is a Cuban Soda that tastes something like a combination of a root beer and a Mr. Pib. IRONBEER is delicious. Yes I'm just gonna talk about a soda I like

Yes we're really doing this. This is a whole article about a soda. It is less of an article and more of a loving tribute to a soda pop, specifically a Cuban soda, called Ironbeer, which is just a great name. You see it and it's like wow that's what I want. I want beer that has the fresh cooling taste of iron in it. It's not just that the soda comes from Cuba and according to the back of the can, which I suspect has a lot of possible exaggerations like how the founder sold it out of a wooden wagon, was called the national beverage , which I can totally buy. Because you know you can say what you want about  communism, but they tend to produce some great sodas.

I think the trick to why it tastes so good, and this is totally counter-intuitive and would have never occurred to me, is that it's actually a little spicy, and that's fine. It really actually helps make it taste a lot better. Anyways I just want to bring your attention to the thing I like and if you ever see it in the store I would suggest picking it up. You will not be disappointed. I didn't think I would get this far. I wasn't even paid to do this. I just really like this soda so much that I went ahead and wrote a whole article about it.
