I hated coming to her with something this ridiculous, but I would not have done it if it had not been already a week of hearing those noises on and off. Failing to inform her would not have been smart; it would have been negligent.
“That stupid e-mail just popped up among my business ones and I assumed it was one of the Knights playing a dumb prank, even if unlikely.
I am assuming it cannot be your doing because of the seal, so we have two options: there is either something in the house, or I am going crazy, and I do not like any of them.”
[ 卐 ] - “E-mail....right.” Zorin repeated, the confusion on her face still obvious. She had no idea what these ‘chain letters’ usually involved- such things were foreign to her. But she did know that what Integra, no, her master was saying worried her.
She gave a grunt of displeasure, however, at what the woman said to her as she thought aloud, gripping her arm. “Yeah...right. Just because of ze fucking seal”
Like she would lay a damn hand on her if she had the choice. Even if she didn’t trust her, she knew better than to treat Integra like she had her master before her- mostly returning the favor of the Knight treating her leagues better than him.
She was starting to get stressed again. She was going to shout if the tension started to build up any longer. She couldn’t remember if she was allowed to smoke here, but she started lighting her cigarette to calm her nerves. A deep breath. It wasn’t time to lose her temper.
“I don’t ezier.” she sighed “But I hope it’s ze first...at least zat’s somezing I can deal vith.”
