I'm continuing my work on my gang of dwarves for Necromunda - and tonight? Tonight I finally have a leader!
I'm so fucking proud of this mini. I'm reasonably certain there are non quite like her.
And she is coming for your salvage!

Experimenting with color schemes for my Ironhead Squats. Wanted to try cooler colors for the hold living under the sump oceans
Kaarl and his heavy stubber, this is another added to the Kaarlverse
I am happy with this one, however I'm still learning to make my 3d prints look better.
Many years ago I saw this conversion of a Macanicus Airship. I have always wanted to do a 40k Airship.
The othere week while sorting out my terrain I decided that I would make my version for the Ironhead Squat Prospecters.
I sorted out my design and selection of unfinished scenery.
The Squat Airship took a couple of weeks coming together very nicely with the little time I could spare on this.
This will be one fitting center piece for the table top during the Necromunda games. Now it is time to paint the Iron Duke!
So I wanted to do some mini building tonight. Specifically I wanted to make a Claim Jumper for my Squat gang. GW ofc sells the Claim Jumper as a standalone kit.
But oh no. See that 15+ in the corner? That's a dead giveaway that it's a resin kit! And I don't like working with GW resin. Also it's a single character kit from GW - ofc it costs nearly as much as a standard box of 8 models for Necromunda.
So, I took said standard gang box. Here's my result.
I think I got the model looking pretty close to the Claim Jumper from the website. Just needs a head and a lil Bosco and they'll be good to go!
And a paint job, but y'know, that's the hard part.
Rock & Stone!
A god damned devil whispered in my ear to paint these orange.
Turns out it's really damn hard to make orange look good.
I've been at this for like 2 hours and I need to stop for my sanity's sake.
Well heck, this is starting to look almost like a proper gang of dwarven prospectors now!
Not enough! Need more dwarves!
4 down, many more to go 😆
Now what stile Squat to do next 🤔
