Leta most certainly shouldn’t have been there, let alone apparating in her current condition though she couldn’t resist, a strange guilt and feeling that she should at least say hi and drop off her gift if nothing more.
It was strange, the fact that she got him a gift, one that she was rather nervous to deliver. Originally she had planned to deliver the gift she got for Credence, several of her old text books and notes that she was able to find and leave the one for Gellert behind on accident, but the more she thought, the more she realized that might be rude. Instead, hence, she decided that she would give it to him first, getting the worst over with as she was still apprehensive and nervous around him.
Still no one deserved to be alone on Christmas, sad, worried, and this was something she was worried he was at this time. Why didn’t matter, not now. But she was worried and she was going to act on it.
Looking behind her nervous she knocked thrice on the door, clinging the bag holding the gifts to her tighter as she looked behind her, anxiously waiting for him or a follower to answer, hoping that it would be him and not the latter.
