"Why hey there! What brings you to the city? Sightseeing? Trying to catch a concert in the music hall? Or perhaps you are here to challenge the gym? Either way it would be my pleasure to help you. It's a big city and I have nothing better to do."

18, Did you go to college?
The young man — that’s what you’d have to call this youth now, with his features sharpening and making himself look older than he actually was — shook his head. His smile was weak and his eyes looked distant. There was a strange feeling to him: parts happy and parts unnerving.
"I guess that would have been expected, had I stayed in Dualum," he chuckled shyly, cradling a small pokemon, unknown to any of the popular regions, "But I’ve been wandering around since I was 15, albeit with friends. I still want to see the rest of the regions in the johton area, and Lucille still has her eyes set out for those gym battles too. So…yeah."
He laughed a little more, but there was a bit of a quiver in his voice.
Headcanon: friendship
((THIS IS A COMPLICATED THING FOR COLM OKAY.
So, Colm will use the word easily enough. As a child, the word "friend" was seldom used. Before his dad died, he would simply nod when people called him his friend even if they didn't speak much, and after that event, he would only use it to describe his relationship with Gastly. And the two Wishum that later came 'round.
The first human he really felt comfy calling them "friend" was Lucille. Than Arthur and Marvin.
Nowadays, he'll throw the words "acquaintance" and "friend" around to describe most relationships, but he only REALLY means it with a select few. For acquaintances, everybody in Team Specter, maybe...maybe Jori. Emmet is here, and so is...Rachel Wight (though she is STILL nowhere to be seen. I miss Owl-mun. QAQ). Cyrille and Vivian are actually inching towards the "friends" section (if they're not there already), and all of his pokemon and the Team Specter Admins are most likely his friends (even Edra, sadly).
The moment Colm starts to act goofy around you and not hesitate to eat pokepuffs in front of you is when you KNOW that he considers you an actual friend.))
Preach it!
"Promises are important," Colm started. He wasn't good at letting out his frustrations like this, but he was trying.
"You hear a lot of "I promise" from so many different people. Some of them know how to stay true to them, but then you get others."
He shook his head a little.
"That word, "promise", it's such a big word, and for people not to respect it, than what worth is that word? What worth is any word if people don't hold onto the meaning?"
A little more shaking of the head.
"Those people need to understand not to toy around with other's emotions. Those words, "I promise", those are needed for so much, and here we are, hypocrites abusing of the meaning to gain people's trust. What is this!?"
He smashed the table (apparently he was sitting down).
"What is t h i s !? Why do people feel the need to be controlling on others? Why do people feel the need to abuse such a powerful word just to manipulate others like fucking p u p p e t s !? What does that even MEAN, about the worth of the person you lied to? Aren't they important? Aren't they worth the truth? Or are you so big and great that people with lives and aspirations aren't even woRTH YOUR FUCKING RESPECT."
Somehow, Colm had managed to dig up something that really bothered him. His shoulders were shaking as he grabbed onto the table perhaps a little too tightly. But he immediately calmed down, regaining his composure.
"I-I'm sorry, I may have let out a little too much," he laughed shyly, "This is definitely not how one should introduce themselves, right?"
