Orange Irouchikake with Embroidered Cranes, Plum Blossoms, Pine Trees, Scrolls, Pheasants - Vintage Japanese Women's Wedding Gown - Colorful Uchikake
From Furyu (F:NEX) and sculpted by Matsuwo (Moineau) comes this 1/7 scale figure of Iroha Isshiki from My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU Climax. She stands elegantly while holding a traditional Japanese-style bouquet in one hand. Her big, bright eyes and cute, coy expression (but we know the truth!) have been clearly painted. Highlights include the textured design of her kimono that gracefully drapes her arms and flows out around her sides, and the careful sculpting and bright paintwork of the petite flowers in her bouquet. Let her grace your collection! Also Available: My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU Climax Yukino Yukinoshita: White Kimono Ver. 1/7 Scale Figure
Asian Clothing Figurines Review
Asian Clothing: Japanese Kimono
Kimono Type: Hanayomeishou Kimono: Shirouchikake & Irokakeshita
Accuracy Rating: 4/5
Explanation: Oooh! The yellow, orange and white color scheme gives the impression of mature luxury. The kimono has an accurate number of layers; the white nagajuban, the yellow kakeshita (i.e. hanayome furisode), and white furisode uchikake are all visible. The base woven patterns on the yellow kakeshita and uchikake are excellent, conveying a sense of high quality and richness. The golden orange futokorogatana (i.e. katana pouch) & hakoseko (i.e. wedding purse) tucked into her obi & collars are necessary wedding accessories and the white-to-yellow obijime tied in a good luck knot is great attention to detail. The orchid headpiece and pinky-purple flower ball bouquet are a stunning modern touches! In terms of negatives: she’s wearing yellow maiko okobo instead of traditional, or even modern, formal zori and her kakeshita doesn’t have its characteristic padded hem. Otherwise, a very stylish bride, indeed!

This was my first time wearing kimono that I dressed myself in. Well, a few of my friends did help me strap into the obi and create that musubi, but otherwise it was all me baby! The event I wore this kimono for was a masquerade party, so I had my hair done and painted a geisha-inspired mask on my face. Lots of experimenting that night!
