The sweetness and saltiness of these air-fried orange chicken wings go well together. The orange glaze on the wings makes them taste great and makes them an irresistible appetizer or main dish for any event.
Ingredients: 2 lbs chicken wings. 1 cup orange juice. 1/2 cup soy sauce. 1/4 cup honey. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tablespoon grated ginger. 2 tablespoons cornstarch. 2 tablespoons water. Salt and pepper to taste. Sesame seeds and sliced green onions for garnish.
Instructions: Put orange juice, soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, and grated ginger in a bowl. To make the marinade, mix it well. Put the chicken wings in a large bag that can be closed again and again. Pour the marinade over the wings. Put the bag in the fridge for at least 30 minutes, or overnight for the best results. For 5 minutes, heat your air fryer up to 400F 200C. Take the chicken wings out of the sauce and put them in the air fryer basket. Keep the marinade for later. Before you flip the chicken wings over, air fry them at 400F 200C for 25 to 30 minutes, until they are crispy and cooked all the way through. Pour the marinade you saved into a saucepan while the wings are cooking. To make a slurry, mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl. Add the slurry to the marinade and mix it in. Once the marinade starts to boil, lower the heat and let it cook for 5 to 7 minutes, until it turns into a glaze. Take it off the heat. Move the chicken wings to a serving platter and pour the orange glaze over them when they are done. Add sesame seeds and sliced green onions on top to make it look nicer. Enjoy your homemade orange chicken wings while they're still hot.
