the iruvia of it all is that when you have all these players and gms looking at their 5 background options and one of them IS the old school oriental mishmash like . making a character from there becomes a real option in everyone's head. probably not 1/5 times but it's there. so then i get way more brown characters than any other ttrpg i played. and i keep seeing the iruvian pcs in the tag :>. i mean there's the orientalism but i feel like most people just make them a regular person but brown so it comes out fine like we really ignored allat. and i get to play with the orientalism in my brain. peace and love

haunted by the guy who said I sounded like I might be from sobo because that's the accent I always wanted to do for Jana and now I realize it's never going to work because the sobo accent is just an approach towards an american accent so I can only come at it from the other direction. rather than a bad american accent it can only even if perfectly executed. be a bad Indian accent. and I CANNOT. do a bad Indian accent. for obvious reasons
