Flip's Lunch Room (1933)

Flip the frog and the old lady are manning a diner with a hungry dog. Not really the most inspired Flip but it has some fun gags like a "peashooter."

Bulloney (1933)

Flip and a matador compete for a girl, starts out with a bar brawl, ends in the ring.

There is one particularly neat unbroken shot of Flip being thrown up a flight of stairs, hitting a wall, and sliding back down on the banister.

Coo Coo the Magician (1933)

After Flip's girlfriend (a Betty clone) is stolen by a magician and sold to the sultan Flip must defeat him and get her back. It's a basic plot with stock Arabian gags but it's still a lot of fun. As always the animation is great and the slapstick between Flip and Coo Coo has a lot of energy.

Techno-Cracked (1933)

One of those shorts where a character tries to get out of doing hard work only for it to backfire. In this case it's Flip getting a machine to do the lawn mowing for him only for it to try to mow the inside of the house. Flip seemingly lives with the old lady in this one... interesting developments here.

There's a really neat shot of the machine walking towards the camera.

Fire! Fire! (1932)

In this short Flip is a firefighter who needs to help a put out a fire.

I love the animation on him climbing the ladder but the best part is when he pulls a gun on the smoke and swashbuckles the fire.
