Sarcasm aside, it’s not just passing commentaries about how “looking like a lesbians” means ugly. Which is already pretty fucked up. It’s the crew apparently showing up uninvited to a lgbt demonstration to shot a scene. When they were asked to leave, they shouted homophobic slurs (sale gouine)… No lgbt collective would cooperate with the crew because they acted so bad… if you truly speak french, it should be easy to find many anecdotes about the making of this movie. “They will learn” doesn’t cover it. Seydoux is, like 27, (29! Time flies) she is not a child, she had plenty time to learn. And if you are planning to play a lesbian, that should be the time.
