i was talking to my lovely aunt (who is rewatching stranger things with my baby cousins) in the car and we went really in depth talking about the show. she started talking about will and i said something offhandedly about thinking will has a crush on mike and i SHIT YOU NOT she put her hand on her heart and gasped and in a genuinly pained way said "OH NO WILL IS IN LOVE WITH MIKE" and honestly? the safety i felt in that moment.

I’m general I’m not the biggest Jiang Cheng x anyone shipper

But I do have a soft spot for Xicheng when it’s post-canon just for the sheer hilarity of having the same almost-ex because Xichen may have been in love with JGY for 13-16 years but Jiang Cheng has been playing co-parent with him and they both went through a nasty divorce at the same time with the same man in front of their brothers

Just like there’s so much angst potential but also the sheer amusement I as a consumer of that angst get makes it something I really like.

I do think I could be a fan of modern Chengyao? YaoCheng? Tho, if it involves marrying to get rights over Jin Ling and then accidental falling in love (and also maybe toss Xichen and Mingjue in there because one, Jiang Cheng does deserve nice things sometimes and two sounds like it would be very funny)
