“Hm? You seem to be looking for something. Need some help, kiddo?”
Sometimes I'm not sure if Nick is the type to immediately go into protect mode when he sees something bad happening, or if he has to hesitate it thinking, "it's not my business," first. Because of having a thought process along the lines of, "no one ever helped me when I needed it, why should I help them?" Because other times the thought process is, "no one ever helped me when I needed it, so I'll be what I needed back then." It like switches back and forth depending on the level of salt he's feeling and he sometimes gets questionable about that.
