Alfie looked over at Dominic, his eyes soft as he moved in just a little closer. He was bad at this. Normally Alfie would have just made a little quip and try to make the situation just a little bit funnier, but it wasn’t happening this time. Instead, he brought his hand to the male’s knee, giving it a gentle squeeze.

“Dom!!” He called out, his whole demeanor lightening when he finally spotted his friend. “I’m so happy you’re back, dude!” The male wrapped his arms around his shoulders, lifting him off of the ground.
