Sadie shook her head, "It's not something that will happen again, Finn. We just needed to get it out of our system, I guess. James is my friend. We have a bond, but this was just a one-time thing..."

Finn let out a snort and shook his head, “Are you hearing yourself, Sadie? This all sounds a little too familiar. Isn’t that exactly, like literally, what we said when we first slept together? Just one time? Only friends? And look where it got us…”

"I can see that, yes, but that's different, Finn," Sadie said, "I've just told you I have been in love with you since I was 14. That's what drove me to you that summer. This isn't like that at all."

Theres multiple reasons why the lowland kodan have stopped worshippjng koda

The first: could easily just be the destruction and trauma of the elder dragons. You can easily lose faith in a god and even the northern kodan are having that. Nature has your back but koda did nothing.

Second: they are the kodan who left the last dragon uprising. The one who lost their voice, no longer able to keep in contact with whatever koda is, and doing their own thing. The sun WOULD have a massive function for them as a source of warmth when they left the caves 10,000 years ago.

Third and the craziest: jormag was koda and they figured that out a while ago once out of jormags reach in janthir.

Okay, I've been trying to find an answer to this and no search engine has been useful.

We know that if the mind wakes up before the body, it causes sleep paralysis.

But what if the body wakes up before the mind? Is that a case where, like with laughing gas or anesthesia, the conscious brain of a person falls asleep and the subconscious takes over. Like when people babe about things they normally wouldn't? Like not recognizing some people or confusing them with others? Or is that just impaired thinking?
