this child was brave, the sorceress can see that. how valiant she was yet she stays around geralt of all people. a child should never be a part of a world like this, but somehow there is a gentleness felt with the two of them. perhaps they need each other, perhaps it was destiny. yennefer tags along, but has a great desire to make conversation with the ashen blonde familiar. she seeks to know more, but is it her place to ask a question ? how might she start to ? has geralt told her stories ? a story about a woman who could never be loved is quite sad. a story of a woman desiring more than anything to have a child of her own but cannot is even worse. geralt would not be so cruel to tell her these stories, she’d hope.
“ you will catch your death a cold, here, let me help --- ” her hands are to extend, hoping that this interaction is not awkward or unfit. “ my hands are warm, you can use them .. i will not bite. i promise. ” though most of her life has been a game of who she can use next to get by with her own information, this was a child. there is no need to ever do something so cruel to a child. @elderheir
