FAERIE INFORMATION. This is all in random order so I'm v sorry if it gets confusin.
Dairy doesn't make fae drunk like some myths, but for their kind instead makes them tired like sleeping pills. Give a Fae a glass of milk or ice cream, they'll be out like a light.
Fae are harvested. I know I said this in a thread but i figured I'd include it here tbh. when two fae decide they want a child (whether it's m/m, f/f or f/m), pollen comes from their wrists and is mingled together before being implanted in a flower. The flower grows for two months in the harvesting realm of the Faerie realm (fae realm has many little realms) before the flower opens and there lies the baby. Because they are harvested, the 'belly button' is more shaped like a pumpkin stem.
At harvest, wings are out and vulnerable. After a few months they can burn to the skin (wingscars!!!) which is extremely painful for the first few years of life, and even after that is still painful. Wingscars look like well, scars when in a rested position and are uncomfortable if touched. If wings are touched however, it's very pleasant, almost like a sexual pleasure.
Fae have accents that resemble Scandinavian accents tbh.
They also have True names. If somebody has a fae's true name, they can control them simply by using their name in a command. The fae will have no choice but to obey. Atri's is Adla, while Benai's would be Bamoe due to fae translations. True names are secret for the most part, though siblings, family or mates would normally know true names.
Fae run on matriarchy, basically. Females are more sensible in their minds, so women rule clans and all that jazz.
That being said, SOME fae have the ability to switch between genders, but their gender at harvest is considered what they are called when things like who would run a clan are considered. Male leaders are very rare.
Fae are considered adults at 20,000. Before that they're adolescents, and past 5,000 are considered teenagers depending on their physical age.
Speaking of that, physical aging depends on the fae. Some fae look like newborns for hundreds of years, while others can look ten by 1,000, like Atri. Atri looks like he's 18-20 due to the fact he's matured that much.
The Fae realm used to have peaceful tribe gatherings every year, but the last fully peaceful one was over a thousand years go. Normal tribe gatherings consisted of a lot of constant music, food, dancing, playing and being merry while the Elders met. Not all the tribes met at once, as it rotated as to which two tribes met where each thousand years. The Karowaya clan no longer participates since most gatherings now end with stolen children, and murdered faeries.
Fae men can get pregnant but it's nearly as rare as like. A flying donkey.
HEATS. Fae have heats. They start after the fae passes the physical age of 14, and occur yearly, sometimes twice a year. During a heat, a fae has the strongest need to either fuck or be fucked, so much that it's nearly painful without it. Self lube is at thing in that time. Fevers also occur, hence the title Heat.
Actual heat temperature wise makes fae extremely ill, which is why the faerie realm is kept at an autumn cool during most months. Winter is close to arctic levels, and actual fall there is winter like. Snow does not always occur in these times, but know that faerie's REALLY like the cold.
Fae children being abandoned (like atri, benai and katri were) is slightly common and 30% of the time, the fae children wander off into other territory like werewolf or vampire and are either enslaved or killed. The rest of the time they may be taken in by another clan or adopted by somebody in their own clan.
Fae don't have gender norms really. Male fae can wear 'feminine' clothing without a second look, female fae can wear 'masculine' clothing with nobody caring. They don't touch on gender norms and expectations often.
Processed food ( for example pizza, chocolate, candy like that and all) makes fae ill. Some more ill than others. Some can get indigestion and that be it for them.
There's no electricity in the Fae world. Things operate there like medivalish times but it's been smoothed and some human things have been integrated there.
Royal Fae generally have homes built around the largest tree in their territory. AROUND, however. Not onto, as they don't want to harm the tree.
Some fae (like atri) have magic but to gain magic, one must train with the Magic Ones (witches).
Hunting humans for sport is normal.
FAE EAT NEARLY EVERYTHING. However they normally prefer meat, and most prefer it raw though some prefer it cooked.
As for appearance, you know about the wings and ears already. But they also have razor sharp claws (similar to cats), and sharp teeth that extend when hunting or feeling threatened.
Otherworld is not the actual title of the planet they live on, but is easiest to call it that.
Oh yeah, if Fae like practiced with Magic Ones they can sort of play around with Time, but ALL fae can conjure portals.
OKAY LAST ONE. Fae steal children sometimes, since they refuse to harm them. Adults and teenagers? Fair game but most fae refuse to harm children and babies. Some of them even steal human babies from their world if they sense that the child will have a miserable life in the human world. In that case, the child is taken to Otherworld and raised there.

BACKSTORY
Benai is maybe 400 years younger than Atri, putting him at 6,800 or st???
Their parents (i have the names written somewhere) left them in the forest when Benai was a few hundred years old, and still looked like an infant. They simply got tired of the three children and expected them to die. Noraia found them and raised them as her own, making Benai and Atri princes of the Karowaya clan.
Thyri is a fucking sadist and not in a good way. He loves to torture Atri physically and emotionally, having killed people he's grown to care for. Thyri is Noraia's actual son. Up to you if he likes hurting Benai or not but either way Atri's uber protective of his younger brother.
-hides- I always saw the boys as being close??? But again, Benai is now yours and everything is up to you!
All that's known about Benai's aging is that he still looked like a baby at three hundred. After that how he aged and how old he appears now is your choice~
Neither of the boys have a chance in hell of being Clan leader, since it would go to Nona (Noraia's daughter) and if not her, then to Katri. After that who the hell knows. point is, Prince is just a title but it still holds power and respect.
Their Harvest Parents are in a separate clan atm, and switched after abandoning the bbs. Dickbags.
Noraia is the Leader to a clan of 40,000 fae, and is currently 100,000 years old.
