The smells in the kitchen certainly lifted his mood, and he was so excited for Isabel and Kiara to meet, two wonderful women in his life, whom both seemed to be caring and considerate, something that almost seemed lost upon people these days. With the town in crumbles, and the world seemingly hopeless, it was a refreshing reminder that there was still good in the world, and when he heard the knock at the door, he quickly told his wife that’d he’d answer it before opening the door to greet Isabel. “Please come in!” He gestured inside, stepping aside so they could get to the kitchen.
